Student Activity Conferences

The UIL conducts Student Activity Conferences (SACs) every fall featuring all of the high school academic events. The conferences, designed to help students begin to prepare for high school academic and fine arts contests are free, and no pre-registration is required.

Tentative programs for each site will be posted on the Student Activity Conferences page, and final programs will be available at each SAC.

Capital Conference

The UIL Capital Conference is held each summer at the University of Texas at Austin. Specific workshop sessions are offered for first-time as well as veteran coordinators/coaches for all high school and A+ (grades 2-8) academic activities. The conference encourages academic coordinators, coaches and directors to meet with their peers and learn from outstanding coaches and contest directors from across the state.
