STEM Overview

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, commonly referred to as STEM, represent an important and growing component of the UIL Academic program. The UIL STEM program includes high school competitions in Calculator Applications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Number Sense and Science, as well as Robotics. The UIL Robotics program is a collaboration with multiple robotics organizations, including BEST Robotics, FIRST Robotics and the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation.

For younger students, the A+ Academics program includes middle school competitions in Calculator Applications, Mathematics, Number Sense and Science, as well as elementary school competition in Number Sense.
