Fall 2025 Legislative Council Meeting
The 85th annual meeting of the Legislative Council of the University Interscholastic League was held on Sunday and Monday, October 26 & 27, 2025 at the Austin Marriott North, Round Rock. The Sunday Public Forum and Monday General Session was live streamed courtesy of the NFHS Network.

Foreign Exchange Waivers
Guidance for the new Foreign Exchange Waiver process is now available on the UIL website. The DEC must approve a Foreign Exchange Student’s PAPF/FEPF before a waiver can be submitted.

Virtual Education and Eligibility
Virtual/hybrid schools are treated in the same manner as other Alternative Schools within UIL rules. This means students are allowed to count courses as outlined in SB 569 toward full-time status at the school to which the student would be zoned based on the parents’ residence (school of residence). The student can use the courses to be eligible to participate in UIL activities at their school of residence only. Read more . . .

Spring 2025 Legislative Council Meeting
