Virtual Education and Eligibility
Virtual/hybrid schools are treated in the same manner as other Alternative Schools within UIL rules. This means students are allowed to count courses as outlined in SB 569 toward full-time status at the school to which the student would be zoned based on the parents’ residence (school of residence). The student can use the courses to be eligible to participate in UIL activities at their school of residence only. More information will be posted soon.
